Tabitha was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago to a family of singers. She spent much of her high school career trying to croon as angelically as Carmen (with whom she attended Timothy Christian Schools) and then came to the realization that she was an alto. Go figure.

Fortunately, her love of music was deep and wide. She embraced her alto role and spent much of her time rehearsing for musicals, choir, and the Illinois All-State Choir.

She continued her music career in college as a member of the Calvin Women’s Chorale and then spent two years as a member of the Calvin Alumni Choir.

Since graduating from Calvin with a B.A. in Film Studies, Tabitha has been living with her husband and daughters in Grand Rapids and running Inkling Pictures.
