Rebecca grew up in Fremont, Michigan and learned to love music by playing the piano and flute. As a student at Calvin College, she continued private piano lessons and sang in the Gospel Choir, Campus Choir, and Capella. After graduation she sang for one year in the Calvin Alumni Choir and as a Choral Scholar at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church before moving to New Jersey. She received her M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary.
